Acceptance of terms

By using ThatPigeon, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

ThatPigeon is a mobile loft management app for pigeon fanciers. We provide tools for managing birds, races, pedigrees, pairings, and health events.

Listings for sale

The For sale section is a notice board. ThatPigeon shows notices placed by fanciers and is not a party to any sale made through them: it does not broker the deal, receive or hold money, or take a commission, and it guarantees nothing a notice says, including the bird, its pedigree or the seller. Whatever is agreed is between the buyer and the seller.

The seller is responsible for what a notice says and for the sale being lawful, including paperwork and rules on moving birds.

Your account

• You are responsible for the security of your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
• Information you provide must be accurate.

Your data

• You own your data. Everything you enter into ThatPigeon belongs to you.
• You can export your data in CSV format at any time, free of charge, for good, including after a subscription lapses.
• We never hold data hostage. An account whose subscription has lapsed is not locked: it stays readable, with every bird, race, pedigree and journal entry in place, and it can export everything. Only adding new records stops.

Your data is portable

You can export everything you have entered into the app at any time, as CSV files, from Settings, whether or not you have a subscription. Photos are not included in the export.

If the service is ever transferred to another operator or discontinued, you will be told in advance, and export remains available for at least 60 days after any end date.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Use the service for illegal purposes.
• Reverse engineer or decompile the app.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service.

Trial and subscription

This is how ThatPigeon will work: the first thirty days will be free, with the whole app, and a subscription will follow. The number of birds will not be limited, during the trial or after it. For now, payment does not exist in the app and there is nothing to buy. When it does, the subscription will be managed through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds will follow the respective platform's policies.

Service availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with prior notice.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." We are not liable for data loss caused by factors beyond our control. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the last 12 months.

Termination

• You can delete your account anytime from the app settings.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
